It’s burning hot. Can you feel it? My desire, my motivation, my rage….they fuel it. Your doubt…it fuels it. I’ve tried to fight it. I’ve tried to deny who I am, to deny WHAT I am. Why? To appease you? To make you feel better? NO MORE.

This fire inside me, this yearning to be bigger, to be better, to be stronger…..I no longer choose to bury it deep within me. I no longer choose to hide it from others. I no longer care that I am different, that I am a freak of nature. I embrace it. It’s what sets me apart from you, from the weak-minded, the weak-bodied. I will stoke this fire. I will fan the flames of it. It will consume me. Can you feel it?

I will use this fire. I will channel it to break through the barriers of pain, the barriers of my body, and the barriers of my psyche. Nothing will quell this fire, not even victory. Each victory will fuel it. Each PR I set will fuel it. Each failure will fuel it even more. Each failure will make it burn hotter and brighter than it’s ever been before. Can you feel it?

I will be of singular mind, and of singular purpose. Nothing will stop me. Nothing will limit me. Not you. Not me. Not anything. Can you feel it? Can you feel the fire inside me?
