Your mind is a funny thing. One day your able to talk yourself into lifting the world the next day you can’t even talk yourself into picking up a grain of sand. When I was in my teens and early twenties, you couldn’t tell me shit. I wasn’t scared of a damn thing Even though I am almost twice as big now as I was then, I actually thought I was bigger then than I do now. Does that make sense??? Well, around age 24 something funny happened. Mr. Injury showed up for a visit. Now anybody who has had any type of injury knows mentally coming back from it is just as hard as it is physically. The weight you used to pick up without any hesitation you now think twice about. Your mind starts to hold you back more than your muscles. You start to get gun shy. That’s when you need to take your panties off and stop being a pussy. Go to the mirror, look at yourself and say “Fuck Gravity”! Tell yourself this every time you get ready to go to the gym. There is nothing or nobody, not even your own mind going to keep you from lifting that weight today. Don’t ever come home from the gym and say I could have done that much weight or that many reps. If you could have, and you should have, you would have…..Regrets are something you never want to have especially when it comes to training. So remember, don’t just think you are strong, know you are strong, and soon you will become the juggernaut you were meant to be. Time is ticking away people, and it slows down for nothing or nobody. Treat everyday like it is your last and you will be surprised how much better your life will be.
